Verdissimo at the Proflora Fair 2019

On October 2, Verdissimo – the leading producer of preserved flowers and plants – attended Proflora, one of the largest international fairs in the world.

The fair, held every 2 years, lasts for 3 days. This year, it took place between October 2-4 in Bogotá (Colombia).

What is Proflora?

As we’ve mentioned, Proflora is one of the most notable fairs worldwide. It’s held every two years in Bogotá (Colombia).

Why is it held in Colombia? The location of the fair is no accident. Colombia is one of the leading countries for flowers exports worldwide! It’s considered, together with Ecuador and Holland, as the “heartland of flowers and plants.”

This fact and Proflora’s recognition make producers and importers of flowers come to this fair from many countries, especially in America and Europe.

It’s especially aimed at a professional audience: professionals in the decoration sector, landscape professionals, florists, etc.

So, once again … Verdissimo couldn’t miss out!

The role of Verdissimo at Proflora 2019

Verdissimo attended Proflora as an exhibitor of products, presenting visitors of the fair with the possibilities that preserved products have, and the benefits of them and the Innovaflora Group.

All this was presented at a stand dedicated solely to flowers: stand 2101.

This stand showed a toucan made of rose buds of different colors, highlighting the latest colors from this year’s Verdissimo’s catalog.

Verdissimo’s main aim was to show the quality of preserved flowers, and how floral art can be made using these products. Natural, original, captivating and long-lasting art! As you well know, preserved flowers are completely natural flowers capable of maintaining their beauty over time without any maintenance: they don’t require water or light.
